Does this work? I don't mean promoting affiliate offers. Shit like CutCo, and other businesses that are alike.

Just curious. Some dudes came up to me as I was walking out of walmart and started talking about how they make monies by selling shit door to door, I was kind of drunk so I don't really remember everything they said, or even what they sell, but it got my attention since they weren't locals..no one just visits this shitty town. Opinions?

Going door to door fucking sucks. I sold satellite subscriptions one summer going door to door. It's the worst job in the universe.

*ding dong* HAI YOU WANT TO BUY REBILL?

I think it would be like affiliate marketing, you just need the right offer, in this case, product. No rebill stuff. Besides, satellite sucks.

Until recently, I sold home improvements door-to-door. We got paid £50-85 per lead, depending on the amount we got in a week. Plus there's extra commission paid to the team manager. Someone in my team got 3 leads per day on average. That was a lot though, most people were lucky to get 1.

I must be fucking boob blind. As far as the satellite thing, I wouldn't expect high margins without rebills.

you're missing the fucking plot with the internet. scaling on the internet is almost infinite. scaling door to door means walking faster

There are a finite amount of people on the internet. Its definitely not infinite.

1. load up van with day laborers
2. outfit them with 'OBEY' t-shirts

I know it might be obvious, but it's only good if you are a good sales person. I know both kind of people. I know a guy who went thru college selling knifes and was having a nice side income of $3,000 while just doing it part time in college. But started a couple of years before he even started college. I also know a guy who made some good cash selling "gas" subscriptions (fixed rate gas). But for every successful person, there are probably 10 people who fail. Again, you have to know, or be willing to learn, how to sell. And you must be a "social" person, not some average nerd who just can't get another job.

I sold security systems door to door and yeah you can make some good dough. There's always cash to be had if you understand how to go about acquiring it. Don't think the guys trying to recruit you were in the right place... college campuses are a goldmines for find individuals willing to do just about anything once and even more so if it involves the possibility of earning cash...

Relative to the logistical limitations one person has in terms of cyber plundering, it is infinite. There are more pies to stick your thumbs in than you could ever discover in several lifetimes.
