What not cool things do you love? I love "The Garden Song" as sung by John Denver. Anything John Denver is dorky.

I got a kick out of passing through Kansas, and smelling barnyard when I got out to visit a rest stop. I bought a t-shirt with a tornado design because it seemed cool, but it's actually rather dorky.

Also, watching public television, especially "Frontline" and "The American Experience."

I love the movie "About Schmidt," about an old guy who goes on a road trip.

And using emoticons. :food-smiley-010:

I've got a Greek statuette of Atlas Holding the world up sitting on my desk. Most find it pretty nerdy and dorky.
Using like 5 different notebooks (everyone tells me to just write using my PC).
Reading a ton of political, self help, fiction, and new age literature daily.
Noontropics.
3 Wolf Moon Shirts (I wish).

I like to throw knives...

for real... I don't tell many people about that though, but I've always secretly hoped someone would break into my house.

I was just thinking about this today when I was listening to "Angel of the Morning" and how much I secretly loved this song and that if anyone found out they would think I was a big dork. More than usual.

edit: also I LOVE buffy the vampire slayer. I watch the whole series about every couple of years and I never grow tired of it. Joss Whedon rocks.

Diners. Love hitting up the old diners when I'm on the road. I'll walk in and grab the neighborhood rag/pennysaver and then make a beeline for the counter and take one of the middle stools. Order me up one of the specials (or waffles and sausage by default) and a black coffee in one of those heavy bone colored ceramic mugs. For the next half hour or so I'll immerse myself into the local culture - eavesdrop on the various conversations or engage in one myself, check out the community happenings in the paper. Some of the really good ones have a display case with their own baked goods so I'll grab something out of that, a toothpick and a couple of mints and be on my way.

My wife and I used to watch this all the time when we first got married. Other then that, I love to watch kid's cartoons with my son. Oh, and I watch WWE...

As far as intellectual stuff, I love Economics and anything having to do with the study of it, which my wife finds boring and zones out the first minute I start babbling on about it.

Nintendo DS (Professor Layton ftw)
Baseball Cards
Baseball/Sports Memorabilia
Comic Books (current favs are Cable, Amazing Spiderman, Detective Comics, Chew, Unwritten, Crossed)

have my degree in Physics, it's awesome. I nerd out about physics, but I love music. Classical and marching band. I write marching band music for competitive high schools

I to am a batman TAS dork. Seen the entire series like 5 times. Usually have it playing 24/7 during summer.

I'm intrigued by astronomy and watch just about every discovery and history channel show on the topic.

I love to find neat pieces of electronics and gadgets and completely disassemble it into a million pieces and try to put it back together usually resulting in someone getting super pissed at me when they get home.

Religious history.

Disney channel shows (fuck you they're hilarious)

Watching ppl play video games with cool cinemagrahics and storylines (such as FF)

Pulling pranks

RC Cars and helicopters

Inventing jokes (strange thing about this, if you tell someone in advanced that you invented the joke they'll usually never laugh, but if you tell them the joke then surprise them with the fact that you made it up they'll laugh and think its great before they have a chance to take it back)

I get some Suite Life in now and then, too.

Sometimes if I can't find anything at all that intrigues me on tv, but I don't feel like workin, I will leave it on the Disney Channel. I was actually very surprised one time when I caught myself laughing out loud from a joke on one of the shows (it may have been Even Stevens). I was thinking to myself, this is the damn Disney channel and they got me to laugh out loud, what the hell is wrong with me.

I lip sync and play pretend in my office about being a rockstar and when really dorky a rapper. This includes hand motions and the occasional jump.

I give pretend motivational speeches using my dogs as the audience.

I still listen to bon jovi and def leppard

Ug I hate the suite life, especially suite life on deck. Oh and wizards of waverly place. Total crap.

But then again nothing has really been the same since Animaniacs.

Now while I detest having to watch any of my 8 year old's shows, he's been reading Gregor the Overlander series and, out of curiosity, i picked it up and started reading them. He's geeked out that I'm reading his series and it's turned into a neat little nerdy bonding thing, that I'm enjoying.
