Gary, I signed up to the Design Course from your signature because I like your design work and you seemed to be a trusted member of the forum.
I paid for the first two projects. I worked through the exercises, found them useful, and was able to apply them to my own stuff. Then I emailed you a design for critique, as that is part of the program, part of the "1-on-1" aspect advertised.
After 3 days I visited the Questions forum on your site to post a thread asking when I can expect the critique. I noticed another thread by somebody who was asking for help, saying he was getting no answers or returned calls from your toll free number and he wasn't able to get in contact with you.
After no response to that thread, I sent you an instant message and a PM on this forum. Both went unanswered. So just a few days ago I saw that you had been on your forum. Some new design critiques were posted, though mine was not among them. At this point it's been over a couple weeks. Maybe it's in the works, you being a busy guy and all, but who knows? You didn't respond to communication - phone, email, message board, instant message, or private message.
But what the hell, I figured I'd go to the Questions forum and give it another shot. But there were some things missing from the forum.
Thread 1 - guy asks for help and says he can't get in contact with you.
Deleted
Thread 2 - I ask about the design critique, another member asks sometime later if I've heard from you, I tell him no.
Deleted
All other posts with praise for you were unaltered.
With WF threads like this, people sometimes don't attempt to resolve things personally before posting publicly. I tried to do this personally. It's not like you didn't have the ability to do what you should have. You ignored me and you censored me. How many sentences are required to answer "When can I expect to have this?" You deleted it and made no further contact with me.
If I had come across a thread like this I wouldn't have signed up. I wish I hadn't signed up, not because of the content, but because of how I was handled. And that's my reason for posting this thread. Part of the advertising for your course is 1-on-1 support with a professional who makes a good living. That's an appealing offer, but one that didn't deliver. I think you could have a really good product, but you need better service than what you've been delivering.
