hey guys, i have a site in the wedding niche that was at the #1 spot from 21-26 january and was getting decent traffic. it dropped to the 2nd page but now after some linkbuilding its back on #1. But to my dismay, I'm getting only like a third of the traffic I was getting in january. not a popular season for weddings, february or what? the #2 site is different this time so it might have affected CTR to my site but I dont understand how that could have resulted in an almost 66% drop...all other factors are the same :(

Any idea what might have happened?

Everyone is gay now and marriage is obsolete.

People plan their weddings early. Usually 3+ months early.

So, You're looking at people researching weddings now for theirs in April-August. What do people usually do for those types of weddings?

Develop some content around that.

Oh, and optimize your page titles. It's highly likely that the new site under yours has a more attractive title.

Good tips, thanks.

But the site under mine has the same title.

January is usually one of the hottest month for weddings, ppl propose and get engaged during the holidays, and start look for venues or what not on Jan of every year. Worked in the wedding industry for a few years, that's what i noticed. Hope it helps.

I would say it's hot for weddings and wedding planning. my little sister and 2 of her friend's are all getting married early next year and started this jan/feb their planning.

Trying going into the divorce niche you might have more luck.

yes

get them in your autoresponder before they marry, set a field for their wedding date. sell leads to wedding planners and harp players.

on their wedding date segment them to a new autoresponder. sell leads to divorce attorneys and ashley madison

$ lol money lol money $

I know some one who just asked their girl to get married on valentines day. So I'm gonna assume that the 14th is a good day to pop the question?
