I really hate the mouth-breathing do-gooders who're out to protect us from ourselves.

I think the authors points on Domainers maintaining the right to collect information on users accessing THEIR sites are pretty good. Anyone else?

First, why do I have to hit f5 to get to the page? Is it a secret code known only to gear heads or something?

Second, my favorite response was...
Kind of like pluging an extension cord back into it's self, your going to blow shit up, don't mess with stuff like this.

That answer may actually be dumber than the original post. I'm still having residual facial ticks from the seizure that whole thread induced.

I think I'll begin plugging extension cords back into themselves on a dare!

Jesus kee-rist! Never underestimate the stupidty of people in groups!

Aren't these the same people who thought the internet was a series of tubes?

Tubes, HAH!

Ten movies streaming across that, that Internet, and what happens to your own personal Internet? I just the other day got... an Internet was sent by my staff at 10 o'clock in the morning on Friday, I got it yesterday. Why? Because it got tangled up with all these things going on the Internet commercially.
[...] They want to deliver vast amounts of information over the Internet. And again, the Internet is not something that you just dump something on. It's not a big truck. It's a series of tubes. And if you don't understand, those tubes can be filled and if they are filled, when you put your message in, it gets in line and it's going to be delayed by anyone that puts into that tube enormous amounts of material, enormous amounts of material.
