EAdvertising payment issues?

Been running with EAdvertising for a few months, they've been good on the weekly payments...now in December they've missed 3 weeks worth of payments to me. I had to stop running traffic. No response from their accounting, no response from my affiliate rep (Mike Kung) in a couple days, and no response on their corporate phone #: 415-365-2822.

Anyone else have issues? Does anyone have a good contact (AM) there I could call for some help?

Just getting a little anxious as they owe me over $60k.

Thanks

First Advantage was recently acquired by First American. When this happened, our Accounting had to set up brand new processes. They have been working to get these completed for Q1. They are just about done.
Payments should resume regularly on Jan 1 according to them.
Apologies for the blue quote.

Ah great whew! My login doesn't work there anymore so I was really getting worried...

Hopefully I can get ahold of Lauren.

Thanks

I can't believe they wouldn't notify their affiliates of this
I'm no accountant, but I can't believe that it takes weeks to change over some payment processes and that during the change, nobody gets paid.

I've heard this line from other companies before and it always makes me wonder if "acquisition" means "we're changing our name to delay payments because we're having cashflow issues".

exactly... I ran with them before around august and everything was fine and then out of the blue payments were coming in later and later and basically they gave me the same response ruck posted. They must have cash flow issues.

Hello, this is Lauren from eAd.

Our parent company, First Advantage was recently purchased by First American, a publicly traded company:

First American - Press Release

The First American Corporation Announces Completion of First Advantage Buy-in

As such, the new corporate came in and added some new procedures Accounting is required to follow for weekly wires. This on top of a skeleton Accouting crew has greatly slowed down wires for the last three weeks. The good news is that we have been able to complete all new procedures necessary and will be back to Monday wires starting next week. Please be assured that you will be paid in full, all you are owed on Monday.

The plan was to get these procedures done at the end of Q4 to ensure a better streamline process for 2010 weekly wires.

Mike Kung is out of the office this week, please feel free to contact me

I just logged in fine at EAD. Haven't had issues with them though. Mike's my AM too and he's normally on Yahoo IM.
