Ok I have received a few PMs after posting in the Newbie Challenge Thread
about using Social Book Marking to garner fast back links so I am going to
try to break it down step by step to include how to use social bookmarking
to create an orbit of back links around your site with Wordpress.

Delicious is a very recognized social bookmarking site that many try to
mimic it. They also use the api from delicious so you can import your links.
So in essence you can book mark one url to delicious and create several
links at one time.

The short list of sites that allow this are:

netvous bibsomony linkagogo shadow spurl simpy

There are several others go find them!!

You can automatically submit your your new urls via onlywire to several
social book marking sites right from Wordpress you are limited to 6 per day
using onlywire so this is not ideal for splogs.*

In sploging and creating links you need another specific plugin to make this
easier http://www.wickedfire.com/newbie-questions/18016-rss-scraping-auto-blogging.html#post218449

If you use the plugin for splogging I suggest you create at a minimum of 20
delicious accounts and use a minimum or 50 tags and randomize your
submissions to 5 tags and 5 accounts. But you also need to create as
many equal supporting accounts.

Lost of work yes I have automated this process as well, but not the part
about going to the other services and adding the the delicious imports. But
then again I don't use this method as much as I used to because I can
submit to 70 social sites automatically across hundreds of profiles!!

You can use those delicious profiles to create a sea of back links via your
own blog network on top of the social bookmarking back links.

Setup 40 or 50 wordpress blogs. Get the postalicious plugin and import your
delicious bookmarks into these blogs. Mix in some rss feed and PLR crap
using and use the post ping ping optimizer plugin and give them some look
of being real. Also you can use the Blog link it plugin to create back links
through your supporting blogs via anchor text.

But using this you can bookmark one url to delicious and create unlimited
number of back links!!

Yes it is some work. Not overwhelming but some work you can either do it
yourself or hire someone to set it up, but if you are not making any fucking
money now you can use this to create a foundation of backlinks on the
cheap and pick up some cash along the way because you can monetize
the the orbit blogs and they will get traffic. Not a lot but to quote Eli.
"They should pay their own rent"

If you need to find these plugins I suggest google.com or someone can post
links to them if this thread takes off.

If a mod thinks this is the wrong place for this please move it.

I'm not a dumb person, nor ignorant of the terms you are using, but I am very confused by this post.

???

Meaning if you want to create other blogs to feed off of you delicious
book marks mix it up a little. Don't just import delicious bookmarks to it.

I guess I should of made it more clear.

Links from splogs/blogs => Delicious => Other SB sites and Self created ad -on splogs
Where you would not want just imported delicious bookmarks in. Mix it up with RSS feeds and plr articles.

Create millions of links pointing to you or something you are in control of
use it to redirect traffic later. Make some money on the way.

Thanks for the clarification. Social bookmarking is something I know can be very powerful, but leveraging it on a large scale is something that really baffles me.

so, whats the best way to get so many distinct email addresses for the accounts from?

does that really work? If I would be in their position I'd check for catch all fu at first.. at least compare the ips

Perfect post. After reading your original comment on this I set off on a journey to automate social bookmarking. I came across the onlywire thing myself after a couple hours searching, but like you said it's crap for splogs.

For people like me starting out with little cash to get going with, posts like this are like gold dust.

How are you able to submit to all those sites automatically? Did you write your own script or are you using someone else's?

Also, I've noticed that the vast majority of social bookmarking sites now use "nofollow" links. Is this still worth doing?

well you still get the traffic if you create the links :)

doing it automatically is pretty easy with just some simple lines of code, some of those services even offer APIs.

parushing: what I meant is, you still need some base email addresses for those accounts, and its not that easy to generate few hundred accounts with some catch all entries or so

A combination of the two

Yes a lot do use nofollow but that does not stop the individual "bookmark"
from being indexed and some spiders don't care about the tag. Think tons
of back links = referral traffic plus indexing power. Not to mention if you
set up other supporting blogs to import your links into that will not be
"nofollow"

It works for me but then again I am somewhat obsessive about it. It takes
an additional 5 minutes to set up manually on a blog, after you have your
accounts created, set it and forget it.

One thing for sure is it cannot hurt and it does bring in traffic.

I use primarily gmail for it and forward the mails to a couple different
accounts and have a thunderbird profile set up just for it. Using a catch-all
with your own domain would be just as effective because you don't
have to create each email account. Just the catch all.

I stated off by creating 10 gmail accounts a day and profiles
at the various bookmarking sites. Now I have automated both.
Account creation and email account creation. As a matter of
fact you could hire out email account creation fairly inexpensively
if you don't want to use catch all accounts.
