Let me tell you about categories (also tags) pages, they have very interesting properties. When you click those you are taken to a page with the list of all the posts (excerpt) of that blog related to the category you clicked on.
So, if you clicked the "business" category you are taken to a page with list of the titles and short summary of all posts related to business (loans, make money, etc.).
Some of you probably noticed another cool feature of the category page, the categories pages are linked from the WHOLE site, every single page/post on the site is linking to every category page.
If only YOU could get a link from a category related to your niche it would be very powerfull cause:
1. Your link will be on a page that is being link from the whole site pages (which might make you think - if the site is strong - with high PR - that can make wonders to your link!)
2. Your link will be on a page which is relevant to your niche (e.g., you get a link from a content-relevant page).
More than that if you could just get MANY of those links it can really boost your traffic, if those links are on sites with high PR then its really a party!!
The answer to all those "IFs" is YES.
