Hi all. I haven't seen much posted about the new Ebay Partner Network affiliate program. I know a lot of us were using CJ with our splogs and whatnot but what has peoples experience been with the new eBay Partner Network? I first transitioned my sites over today and have not yet seen any sales or tracked clicks. Does the new network track in real time or is it still delayed like on CJ. Whose making money on the new network? Let's start a fireside eBay chat!

it takes a few days to see results because old cookies are still linked to cj, so you will see commisions on cj even after you moved.

I went an entire week without commissions and suddenly they were all dumped on me at once.

Yea I started eBay's in-house program immediately, thinking the 5% bonus would bode well.
Tracking sucks, and I lost out on quite a few leads I should have had.

Only good things to come hopefully

I am currently doing few things with their new platform but it is really really delayed. I am not averaging very well either, some days I make heaps and other days none and I am sending very similar amounts of clicks, i think their new system better tracking.

The campaign tracking number sucks. It makes it almost impossible to create new feeds on the fly. I'm still puzzling through the API to see how to figure it out; it seems BANS, phpBay et al. are not having this issue so there must be a way around it.

I applied for an account there but they rejected without any reason.
I tried to contact the support but there is nothing like support in the website.

Do you guys believe that they are not accepting international members? Otherwise I don't think they have any other reason to reject my application.

Ive been using it now for a week or so. Somehow they created a WORSE tracking system then CJ. The tracking is heavily delayed and not even correct. I have a campaign that says I got 1,756 clicks and the site itself only had around 200 visitors so its not even possible. Hopefully they fix this up. they only had years and years to work on it while they were with CJ.

How do you "officially" switch over from CJ? i looked on CJ but didn't see anything about it. Will it automatically happen if I don't do anything or is there some step I need to take?

Theres no "switch." You basically start from scratch. Just sign up for a new account at ebaypartnernetwork.com and then start changing your links. From my experience there was no approval process, it was just an instant registration.

^^ I found when switching over that you need to use the same email address as your CJ account, or you don't get the auto-approval. Easy enough to change after signing up.

As for the OP, my volume is pretty low, but I actually have found the reporting to be quicker than CJ was for me, and it's accurate in terms of clicks so far.

I only have 1 site running at the moment but it seems to be more profitable then when I was using CJ. Not sure if people are more interested in buying during April as compared to March. I don't find the reporting to be slow, well no worse then CJ I guess.

nah I got auto approved and I didnt use the same email address.

...Maybe they just know who I am anyway.:uhoh2:

Huh, I waited 4-5 days on my first attempt, no approval. Signed up again with my CJ email and got approved in 30 seconds. I guess there's no rhyme to it.
