He is - THE CACTUS!
I'm wondering does anyone know a good site for SciFi / Fantasy or comedy eBooks?

(Had you going there for a moment, thinking I was gonna ask something REALLY dumb, right?)

As it turns out, my phone has Reader on it, which means I can carry my library on my phone (already up to about 400mb of Aasimov, Heinlein, Bradbury, Pratchett, etc)... This saves my bag having heaps of books in it, as I chew through about 200 printed pages a day.

Anyway, unlike music & movies I believe in paying for books because the author's DO get residuals... and Amazon's kinda crap for this as they're asking about 70% of an actual print book.

Anyway, it'd be great if the site had some decent reviews / recommendations as well.
I don't mind doing it through someone's affiliate program either if the site's got a good range.

Try searching on pirates bay for the author or title you want. They have tons of ebooks and magazines. If you are into comics and manga someone always seems to scan that stuff.

Yeah, that's the thing though. I actually respect authors enough to buy their work...
That's why I want to do this legitimately.
I mean, for books I already own a hardcopy of, yeah, I'll download them (hence the Aasimov n what not), but for new books, digital's the way to go now that I've got a reader program on my phone.

I've got a pretty big library at home (seriously, all up, there's about 40 meters of shelves, and they're CRAMMED with all sorts of books).
I just want to be able to start buying the books digitally straight off, but not at the rip off prices Amazon's charging (hell, I can get the hard copies at the digital price Amazon's charging most of the time)

Or is all this just a little too OCD of me?
