It's been mentioned here before I think, but for a total beginner, what do you guys think of it?

I appreciate the fact that it won't make you rich, but I'm wondering if you think his tactics actually hold any water.

Well since afaik nothing there costs money the liklyhood of someone someday buying somthing through your link approaches over 9000.

I've actually tried out and done his whole setup in a few hours and the site receives 10 or so visits a day. I get about 1 sale a month from it ($20 ish) - enough to pay off my hosting and domain renewals for the year so I'm glad.

You can follow those basics and go overtime and develop a full site based around free advertising (which I'm trying now) or build a network.

i also was referred to this site by someone and i looked over it but just didn't really have time to go over it the videos seemed real short guess i was thinking he would actually explain the process and when you doing a whole lot of stuff you just don't want to waste time if you don't have to

I made $$ on it.

A couple of years ago, I followed his program for a month. Built a site and sold that site for around 5K . I haven't been able to replicate it though...

The Thirty Gay Challenge

  • You Sign up
  • You opt in to about 40 different things run by Ed (twitter, friendfeed, youtube, etc)
  • You learn social networking by bookmarking all his posts and sites for him
  • Ed shows you a few old tricks that he tells you are "game changing tactics"
  • You start to grow tired of his annoying accent and horrible guitar playing
  • Maybe you make a few dollars selling ebooks and get excited
  • He then starts dropping hints about his $97 a month 'secret club'
  • You figure if you could just get in there you could make the BIG BUCKS
  • You join Immediate Edge and are told "big things are coming, hold tight"
  • After the 30DC you start getting hit with his affiliate offers via email
  • You buy them because you think he's a great guy
  • You go broke
that's the Thirty Gay Challenge

That is totally fantastic and how I've always felt about him.
Never seen it put so well and so true!

you could just spend an hour on this site reading for a month and learn 30 times more than this stupid challenge would teach you. The whole point of the challenge is so more people will join his stupid site
