Has anyone ever used email creatives as a standard LP? Is that typically something the network or advertiser is OK with?

You can use whatever you want. I always peep the email creatives for ideas, but they're usually nothing special.

I have seen quite a few pages using email creatives in the past. I worked for a large network a few years ago and they would let people use creatives anyway you like. Unless there is something in T&C you should be good to go.

I've used them all the time as interstitial ads when I was running a web proxy
just remove the lower part where they put the disclaimer and address removal instructions and you get a pretty nice ad

they are definetly helpful for graphics at the least

I have been tempted to throw them up on a new test campaign when direct link isn't plausible.
