Email marketing is a form of direct marketing which uses electronic mail as a means of communicating commercial or fund-raising messages to an audience. In its broadest sense, every email sent to a potential or current customer could be considered email marketing. However, the term is usually used to refer to:
- sending email messages with the purpose of enhancing the relationship of a merchant with its current or previous customers, to encourage customer loyalty and repeat business,
- sending email messages with the purpose of acquiring new customers or convincing current customers to purchase something immediately,
- adding advertisements to email messages sent by other companies to their customers, and
- sending email messages over the Internet, as email did and does exist outside the Internet
Hell yeah it can be profitable.
It's the best (in my opinion) most secure asset you can have online these days. What with Google bitch slaps, and sandboxes, here-today and gone-tomorrow methods, this one stands true.
Spend some time building an email list of a few thousand peeps and you'll have a fairly nice income. Plus you get to keep it. No one can take it from you (within reason). You see how those dufuses at the "top" make $1k days? Most of em are doing it with email marketing. gl.

How can we get into email marketing? Are there any articles where we can learn how to create email lists and how to find people that will pay us when people click through?
I've read this is good for beginners as you don't need to spend money.
I'm a complete noob with this so appreciate any help
