Is anyone else loling at the fact that the IRS is saying they lost emails relating to this IRS investigation thing?

Why don't they search the emails of the people that received them.

Or why don't they just ask the NSA lul

Because they're too busy destroying all of the evidence. I'm sure someone is paying Lois Lerner to keep her trap shut. Public servants should be forbidden from taking the fifth for matters relating to their so-called jobs. Servants normally answer all questions lest they be bitch slapped. All of this is surely criminal but what do you expect from a criminal organization?

I was watching coverage of this a couple days ago and they had some server guru who was saying that not only did they lose the sender's emails, BUT they also.... wait for it.... lost ALL of the recipients's copies as well!

I shit you not. And all due to "regular" server maintenance. lulz

Or look at the logs of the server that sent them.

There are copies of the emails all over.

Scamming fucking losers.

I'd love to be able to act like the US govt (or most / all govts around the world).

"Sorry, I just can't recall that data. Well, case closed then, on to a new day".

I dont see why they dont call in an IT Expert and have them tell everyone that its literally impossible to lose those emails unless someone DELIBERATELY deleted them to hide evidence. BLAM! closed case and someone should goto jail.
