That's a common problem. I don't understand why vBulletin doesn't make those standard smilies fully transparent..

Because when you make a transparent gif, you need to select a mat (background) color or else any radius looks jagged as hell. They obviously picked their default background color as the mat.

Lol, yeah, I was already confused the first time I used it (that's why I used it in the first place) and it managed to confuse me even more...
