Encrypting Keywords

Does encrypting only prevent the keywords from showing up on the aff networks, or is it possible to encrypt them from showing up in services like Spyfoo etc.?

What do you mean, "encrypting keywords"? Sending traffic through a redirect that strips the referrers? If so, then no, you can't hide your keywords from SpyFu, KeyCompete, etc... - all those services do are scrape the ads on a huge list of keywords from the search engines. Only way to hide your ads from that is to stop advertising.

It depends on ..

- What exactly you mean by "encrypting keywords"
- What method you use to encrypt them
- Where you are sending the encrypted keywords

If you already have some tracking software setup and are bidding on different keywords, you probably just need to setup tracking IDs and not encrypt keywords.

Actually TVmatt answered it. Just couldn't think of the correct term. I was basically trying to find out if there was a way to keep the keywords from being scraped by services like Spyfu etc.

Also, sloop, if I setup tracking IDs, will that prevent it?
