Back when EPN switched to their so-called Quality Click Pricing I wrote them off as another affiliate program trying to scam affiliates and started replacing them on my sites. I ignored a few links that get almost no traffic. Those generate a small sale now and then.

What's weird is that with almost no sales at all, and the ones I get are usually very small, my CPC jumps between $0 and $0.13. I get a sale with winning bid revenue under $1 and CPC jumps to $0.13 for a few days then drops back to $0. Later another sale with WBR under $1 and CPC jumps to $0.13 for a few days or a week. So in a typical month I get like $3 of WBR and $30 of earnings. It's been like that for months.

So are they completly retarded? I think yes. Maybe their system is unstable for small numbers. EPN ballers probably don't see those kind of weirdo fluctuations. The real question is can this be gamed.
 


Have fun trying to game EPN. The latest rumour is that Penguin/Panda/whatever has a hate-on for EPN aff links and sites got hit hard.

Which I can personally attest to. I have some EPN sites from way back in 2008 (who doesn't?) that got smoked in the latest round of google updates.
 
I had over 10k EPN sites. Panada destroyed most of it. Went from $500+ a day, to now $50-$100. $100 if its a lucky day. Dam you google.
 
Small numbers on a campaign level will, in my experience, create these types of results. I usually combine sites that only get a handful of clicks a day into campaign groups to get more consistent results.

Amazing man. 10k EMDs? panda put you out of business with that spend? Using weird content methods? No adsense?

I dropped ebay over a year ago.. the quality pricing really was an 50-80% hit and the 3 cent clicks which were actually generating sales weren't worth it. The algo when I last looked at it favored sites with user-bases.. and 'quality' improved when you had returning visitors making returning purchases... google traffic wouldn't win.. adsense outperformed bigtime..

You only made $500 a day from 10k sites?

I'm asking because reg fees on 10k sites is like, uhm, 80k a year.

i had same question man.. i imagine you get 10k and use some automation, you can get a discount.. but still 50-60k

pre-EPN quality scoring this would have kicked ass.. ebay was converting better than adsense in some niches.. am guessing the content was the key there.. that's even more expensive than domains.. all that sales copy.. you'd need to work out some plan to lower the cost if you know what i mean.. move forward using links prepanda.. 500 is a good take on it.. pre-EPN quality scoring.. hmm.. 2000/day? maybe more
