Long story short, I worked out an exclusive deal with a client to help them sell tickets to an event online. I'm getting paid 10% of all the ticket revenue generated from online sales and the AOVs will likely be very high. I'm guessing the average is going to be around $600-$700, maybe more.

The target market is people traveling to Miami for the Super Bowl, in addition to locals who attend some of the pregame festivities. I was wondering if any of you had some creative ideas about how to push this beyond obvious channels like paid search, targeted media buys etc. I'd kind of like to do some SEO, but the KW research is kind of hard and the timeframe tight. There is also a bunch of offline media which will probably translate into type-in traffic, which makes my life a lot easier.

Outsourced mass posting to craigslist and backpage.

Create a facebook group for your "event" and get a bunch of people to join a "cause" related to your promotion and subsequently promote your "event" for you all over their walls, their friends walls and their friends friends walls.

Pay someone to create a viral facebook app and tie it into the above scenario.

I made a mini-killing on the bowl games... craigslist and targeting certain keywords in google alerts and having great comments to a good site really helped.

Wishing I would have thought of those facebook event ideas......
