I do a bit of consulting for a Russian dating program, and I recently received an e-mail about becoming an advertiser with Evoplus.ca. I've never heard of the company, and Google brings up very little outside of a company that may not be related, Evoplus.com.

Has anyone had any experience with them? My initial impression is very bad, as their website isn't even functional - it doesn't give me a lot of faith in their ability to track orders, police affiliates, handle payments, etc.

Like I said, I'm 99% against the idea of working with them, but I thought I'd check here to see if anyone happens to know of them.

UPDATE: I just got an e-mail confirming that they are Evoplus.com. He delayed all requests for references and additional information, though. I'm still not impressed.

From what I remember, they are from Montreal, (which is where I am), we had sent them money for marketing 1+ year ago ... never heard from them again after payment, shitty service, shitty everything, garbage company if you ask me, don't waste your time/money on those fools.

Evoplus.com is 2-tier PPC, that sells doorway traffic. I worked with them some months ago, it is possible to make good profit with them. This traffic worked really great for ringtones, about a year ago, it was simple to recieve 300-400% ROI.

You can use page translation from Russian to English and read about them in Russian seo and marketing blogs. They can be found here: blogs.yandex.ru/search.xml?text=evoplus

Thanks for the feedback. Considering that my client would be running a CPL offer with them, the idea of dealing with sketchy traffic/poor service isn't very appealing.

I do work on both sides of the affiliate equation, so I understand the importance of networks standing up for both their affiliates' traffic and the advertisers' need for quality. I can't say with any certainty, but my hunch is that I'd have better luck sticking to the bigger networks.

Of course. But, you should also remember that many affiliates are using this sort of traffic (because such companies sell it to larger brokers, such as 7Search and Miva) and mainly it's big three search traffic, that can be bought much cheaper.
