I've never come across this situation before so thought I'd get some feedback.
I've found an aged domain with PR, solid backlinks, some social links including some domains specifically used for rep management. It seems the business had some issues with complaints and tried to hide it using other domains and have since given up and let the main domain expire and closed the business.
I'm looking to add some new relevant PR domains to a network for my own stuff, eventually open it up for clients/public posts/links.
So, the question is as it's a 'trusted' domain in G's eyes (but was a badly run business with lots of complaints) would that have any negative effect on my efforts if i buy it, return some of the original relevant content pages, 301 the rest and start to build as a network site.
Thoughts?
