How long are you guys waiting for approvals on your ads? Mine seem to be taking hours for approval and I'm only submitting one or two since my budget is tight and I'm making a decent ROI on just the couple I have going. (Working on a daily $5) BTW, I'm loving the site, tons of great info. I've been toying with Affiliate marketing for a couple of years on and off but never anything serious until now.

If only there was a 75 page post dedicated to Facebook advertising that had the information you are looking for...

I didn't see anything about wait time on ad approvals in that thread. I'll check again, thanks.

Mod delete thread please. Thanks texic. The info in the other thread is a couple weeks old but I'll take it as the most current info I can find.

hey man if you are making good ROI, you need to take out that credit card and not be scared to spend some $$.

I wish. I was in a really bad car accident in 2007 (hit by a drunk driver). My injuries caused me to lose my job. While I am suing the fucker, it could take however long to see any cash out of it. I was unemployed for 6 months and was unable to make credit card payments. As a result I have horrible credit until I can finish clearing it up. New year, new spending habits, and a new budget will give me 1k a month extra to play with, just need to wait a month or so for the excess to kick in. I'm seeing 3x my investment on a single ad consistently, just don't have the cash to take it to higher levels sadly.

Maybe this will be your year.

Get a silent partner to drop $$ on your campaigns (but only disclose enough info necessary to secure funding and "prove" the returns, don't give him all your keywords/demos obviously)

That's a good idea too. I have discussed this with a few different people, I am just hesitant to play with someone else's money. Back to the original topic, I'm currently on 9hours of waiting for a stupid ad approval.

Most of my ads from the past couple of days have been a matter of an hour or so. Its just frustrating since this ad gets blown up at night and I tweaked it a little to see if it will perform even better tonight and the damn thing isnt approved yet. hopefully it will get approved for use by 5-6pm est. guess I'll just have to play the waiting game for now.

They are located in California, so it is somewhat early there I believe, but I'm certain it will get approved around 5pm ET. Good luck this year bro :)

I am sorry to hear your story.

If capital is an issue, have a friend who trusts you to use their card and split some of the profit with them.

Ad approvals are variable an account rep may help but overall its pretty random.

Thanks man, I am really looking forward to it.

Thanks for the offer but I think I'll be ok. I am pretty good with my taxes and should be getting close to $3400 in returns plus I just cashed out a $680 401A account that I got for free. That coupled with some side work I am expecting to be paid for soon (I build websites and do computer repair on the side) plus the extra $1000 or so I should have each month ought to be enough to get me going. It's just the waiting part that sucks. I have to wait until Feb or so to get together a few $$$$ to put in to this. All in good time I suppose. :rasta:

When I used to run facebook ppc, any ads I submitted after 6-7 pm pacific time were always mass disapproved at 3 am pacific time, so I would resubmit them sometime around 9-11 am pacific the next day. The same ones that were mass disapproved the night before would be approved at 3 pm pacific time the following day.

This was a few months ago though. However, I had a 100% success rate for this odd approval occurrence happening.

Anyways expect your shit to be approved by 3 pm.

Bah they disapproved it saying they couldn't get to the URL. so I clicked the add myself in the preview and it went right to where it is supposed to go. resubmitted with another URL. Let's see how long it takes. You are right btw FerrisHilton. 3PM on the dot got the email saying it was disapproved.
