im running a dating offer targeting 40+ females. i have about 4-5 ads that have a ctr of around 0.10. i get about 10-20 clicks a day but none of them convert...

any advice?
 


Is Facebook really the most appropriate network for the 40+ demo?
Seriously stop and think for a moment about what social networks are out there for this particular demo. If I were targeting 40+ people for dating, I'd actually go for the professional end of the market instead of the scatter gun approach.

I'm sure you can figure the rest of this out for yourself.

try a new offer.
Your Direct linking them so theres not much you can do *IF* you beleive you are getting adequate clicks.

but your ad copy will influence the users mood when she ends up on the lp

First of all - 10-20 clicks - assuming that you are converting at 10% you would get 1-2 conversions from it. Now considering this is dating there is no way you are going to be converting at that rate. You will need a lot more clicks to gauge your performance.
 
Facebook is a social site for friends. It is easier to date people in, around, or acquainted to your social circle. There is no reason for them to leave facebook to find random strangers on a dating site.
 
I bet he's running real mature singles...

I run it on FB and am very successful....
