And MySpace plans to introduce an advertising program that will allow small-business owners to design and place ads on the site automatically. The self-serve program, which will let owners target a particular audience, could compete with the advertising networks of Google and Yahoo, DeWolfe said.
MySpace's new S.F. office will be key to redesign plans

Sounds like a self serve program that allows affiliate marketers to target Lonely single gay christians in their early 20 living in Montana with 'services' such as Online Dating or at least a free xbox to keep their idle hands away from the devil.

They are rolling some big shit out in the next few weeks.

So lets all learn from the FB Flyers Pro. The general sentiment was - Ooops we opened our mouths and it got ruined too fast...
Well, I can GUARANTEE that that will happen again. So IMHO the real answer is to get in FAST, go in HARD, and do not eat sleep or piss until it is over.

I'd fuck your chicken hole right now... been bummin the last day or two in development mode...

Thanks

Wow, Thanks for that tip. I guess this is only going to benefit us as FB will improve their existing system to compete against Myspace.

Very good find!

No specific ETA on the roll out. Same with their developers API to compete with FB.

But rumours say within the next two weeks.

Also MS is hiring 200 new people in San Fran - Mostly engineers, Hopefully NOT writing spam filters...

But if so, then thats why Prohead.

Keep your stick on the ice.

Last month it seemed that the launch was scheduled for November. Still no word on whether this is a CPM or CPC model, from what I've seen. I'm banking on CPM, as I know that with large advertisers trying ROS CPC campaigns have been turned away or had money refunded since they just cannot provide the volume of clicks needed for the insertion order (Not sure about targeted ads, but the stats I saw were laughable).

it will be very interesting to see how this all plays out...looks like we'll have another advertising medium for xmas promotions

So if you learned from FB then why the fuck are you creating a psot to tell people about this dumbass?

Read my 'psot' dumbass. Posting it wasn't the problem last time. It would have happened the same regardless of a fkn WF thread. The problem wasn't that the 'secret' leaked out. The problem was facebook has their shit together. Something MySpace doesn't....

So get your nose out of that Llamas ass and wise up.

When things on the scale of facebook get launched... word gets out. Word gets out fast. WF isn't the center of the universe and it isn't you and the 200 other lurkers on here driving the affiliate marketing industries. There are 100000's active publishers, 10000's of blogs, 100's of IRC channels, and more than one forum. But the real truth is that the hot cutting edge stuff doesn't travel trough any of those mediums anyway.

it is extremely naive and frankly arrogant to think that a wicked fire thread ruined Flyers Pro. Or on that note, to even think flyers Pro is ruined... it isn't. It is just not easy for n00bs anymore.

Chickenhole... you could have told him to just go fuck a smelly cunt for all you care...

Yep.. I would definitely suggest that comeback, pussy :-D

oops, I forgot to delete smellyllama's comment after he got banned...he's a troll don't waste your energy people.

bottomline is.. this is just very short-term speculation, exploitation. you will never make serious money (I'm talking at least $100M) with this kind of shit. To make real money and to create real companies - you need to create real VALUE. And if you don't you guys will always remain a bunch of "hit-n-run" punks who think they are something compared to the real entreprenuers such as for example the creator of facebook or any other even-minorly-significant e-company. Sorry, if i hurt your boyish egos.

Gosh Bulldog, However did you take the time from your own 100 million dollar company to post in this little forum?

So you're saying that, if you see a couple thousand dollars floating in the river, you won't bother to get all wet and pick them up, because that would make you a bad entrepreneur ?!
