not sure if anyone has thought about this but what happens to the users that have started to push daisy's that are members on facebook?

If you cannot cancel your facebook account or do it on someone elses behalf how can you close it down for the dead person...

now with that thought in place... think about 60 years from now... there are going to be a huge amount of dead people that still have facebook accounts...

whats your thoughts?
 


Ah man I was getting some evil ideas and then I saw : IMPORTANT: Under penalty of perjury, this form is solely for the reporting of a deceased person to memorialize or remove the person’s account
 
It really creapy, this super popular girl back home died horribly and at first her facebook page was an outlet for grieve but eventually it was just like ok stop it, poor family that's a constant reminder, with discusions about her death still going on, just shut the thing off and let her rest in peace.

I was thinking the exact same thing when I saw the link... thought that could be a recipie for disaster. A prime example would be the Queen...

this is another one of those drunken stuper moments... what TRUE friends is the Queen going to have on Facebook... She is probably one of the most guarded people on the planet... this means her only friends are the butlers and house maids... yea she is going to have a huge list... sure... most of her school friends (if she went to any nose up schools) would be in a box...

That would have to be the worst... You are on Facebook, all your friends are in a box and you are the only one left still kickin and using facebook... I thought broke was bad... being broke and stupid was really bad... this would have to be the worst possible life.... on facebook with no friends, broke and stupid... dont think you could get much worst than that...
 
One of my friends passed away about 6 months ago. His wife has left his profile up.

Its weird seeing his pic as part of my friends list, or the whole you share this friends when I visit other's profiles.

It is a good way to not let him be forgotten though.
 
well facebook is gonna take advantage of it using the sentimental angle on it, exploiting people to make the company look less evil. i have no problem with it, but I'm sure the thinking off the ceo was anything but pure

I hope people don't actually pay you to copywright their shit.
 
Got several dead friends and it seems like most of their family/partners choose to leave the profiles up.

Kind of weird when someone tags a new photo of one of them but then again, just reminds you of the good times.
 
I have 3 friends on my facebook that are now dead. Their profiles are still up after a year and people still post on them. I am going to put in my Will to delete that shit.
