Favorite way to monetize your site?

I'm sure everyone "favors" the way in which makes the most money.

But for your typical content based site that runs more like a lavish blog giving lots of value to the viewer with quality articles, instructional video series and such do you prefer to make your moolah through advertising, affiliating, membership, selling your own product or all of the above?

I've never tried this, sounds like a great idea... I'd imagine you'd have to have really intriguing/quality/useful content in order for it to work... Or does it work with anything?

Content Unlocking never worked for me, expect in 06-08 with all those movie sites, and shit. Now I can never get anything to convert even after 20-80 clicks a day on the offers.

Adsense. It's not the easiest to make money with, but it's simple enough to setup that I can focus my time on SEO instead of on-site monetization. It's tough being a one man show!
