FB ads not showing

I'm new at this don't know what went wrong

Budget 10$
Bidding 0.60$ 20 cents higher than recommend setting.
Target: 14 million

Getting no impressions, I changed the bid to 1 dollar for couple mins and still no impressions. The ad suppose to start from 6pm to 11pm tonight, the status says scheduled. Why isn't my ad running?

Short answer, be patient sometimes it takes a bit for new ads to start showing.

if ads are approved (which I assume you're not an idiot, so they are) sometimes there is a lag between approval time and when they actually start running. Also your daily budget can effect how quickly the ads are shown, since they try to spread the impressions evenly over the full time period, so you might trying bumping up the daily budget.

Ok this is so weird, last night I paused after it tells me my ad is not showing and needs modification, I went back to check it this morning and it got 20k impressions and a CTR of .03, so it was running except it wasn't updating for some reason. I thought facebook ad update every 5mins so you can track how well your ad is doing?

Be careful.

In fact, it probably is running.

Facebook has a terribly slow "daily stats" section, so you will probably wake up tomorrow and realize the entire $10 is gone.

Tread slowly. Or better yet, take action, shoot them an email, and become 100% positive about the situation.
