Any tips for boosting energy/productivity? On days off from my 9-5, I just want to sit down and read/watch brainless stuff.

how is your diet? You may need more electrolytes in your diet. And the other would be a regular sleep schedule.

Eat more when you wake up, eat better things, take B12, Sleep more or sleep more comfortably, if you can't sleep try some melatonin, try a better mattress. exercise aerobically for 20 minutes a day.

Nootropics are a great start. Do not go to ebay and buy the cheapest stuff available, it's usually fake. Be vary of high performing substances like Modafonil since you can only order it illegally. The stuff I ordered makes me nauseous each time I take it. Probaly a fake.

I recommend starting with Caffiene + L-Theanine. Buy pre-capped Caffiene pills because 1. Caffiene taste terrible 2. You can overdose and get sick easily.

I just drink coffee or Ice coffee, that helps and lots of it, also listening to music helps high beats, techno, trance, upbeat, one thing I do listen to is a lot of spiritual speakers, it helps me understand why my body is the way it is, and the way I think, its actually pretty exciting understanding how your thoughts are the way they are.

You live in a sunny place? I live in the PNW and got a sun lamp this year. Pretty decent so far.

Usually get up, make a good breakfast, eat a good multi-v, b12, have coffee and sit with the lamp on my desk as I do work. My mornings are productive as hell.

To load iodine and b-vitamins in the most assimiliable form.

Or be a superfag and get a script for levothyroxine. I don't fuck with nootropics or synthetic simulants bc of the reregulation of receptors which is a bitch in the long term.

Go on a ketogenic diet. Burn fat for energy rather than depend on sugar. This gets rid of consequences of blood sugar dips.

Don't worry about all the new age bullshit advice. Just run every day until you puke. Do that for a week, and you'll find a renewed sense of energy.

If you eat processed food, get rid of that shit. No food from a box allowed! If you don't know how to cook good meals, then learn. It's not hard. Don't worry about one of the 18,000 diets out there available. Just eat normally with lots of fresh veggies and meat, and you'll be fine.

I read that in so many places, and yet, how do you do that? I mean almost everything is processed food, do you not eat like noodles and stuff?

What kind of sun lamp? Like not for reptiles but more like a tanning light?

I'm in Seattle and don't get enough sun outside of summer or vacationing.

Stick to the back of the store when you shop for groceries. Avoid the inside aisles.
yeah so like meat and produce right?
I read enough to believe it's got to be much better, just can't wrap my head around it.
Do you live on this? How strictly do you take this diet then? and how has it impacted your energy?

First, a disclaimer: I refrain from making specific recommendations when it comes to diet and exercise. Everyone's different. So I encourage you to experiment.

Here's what works for me...

- 90% of my diet is composed of meat, fish and eggs.
- 10% is composed of vegetables, fruits and white rice.
- I consume very little fiber (less than 5 grams per day).
- I limit added sugars.
- I rarely snack, preferring to eat satiating meals.

I rate my energy level at 7 out of 10. I rarely experience slumps. Nor do I experience short-lived energy spurts since I minimize sugar intake and eat a lot of fat. (SeoReborn is very knowledgeable about this stuff.)

Having said that, I haven't had blood work done in awhile. So, my numbers could be out of whack without my realizing it.

Hell yea

I eat 100% real food. A real food is something you would eat on its own. Salt is a real food. Disodium guanylate is not something I would eat a spoonful of by itself; its not a food.

So I cook for myself from scratch. If I buy something in a package it can;t have nonfood ingredients. There are a lot of products now that are made of only food if you don't want to give up buying stuff in a box or wrapper.

When I eat out it's salads w/ olive oil & basmatic or lemon juice. Steaks, baked pot, veggies, and I don't really out that much because I am going for the highest level of selectivity. But 90% of the gains can be had with less fanaticism.

Eating only food has changed my life and wellbeing.
