Felix Dennis's New Book: 88 The Narrow Road

I gotta say... I didn't love How To Get Rich... it just seemed like a lot of fluff...

i remember he said 'how to get rich' is the only 'make money' book he's ever going to write unlike other get rich authors... now he's making another one?

I liked his first book a lot. No BS, tells like it is. His poetry wasn't quite as good.

Yeah I could have done without the poetry but it was his book so he got to do what he wanted. But there was some good business points he hammered on in there like profit sharing is good but absolutely never give up equity if you don't have to, don't snort and fuck your money away, etc.... The book was about half fluff/anecdote half real world biz advice. I thought it was good, but sans fluff it would have been great.

I'll probably read his new one too.

"How to get rich" was great. Inspirational, entertaining, and educational. To me, the book is more about getting in the right mindset, rather than a 1. 2. 3. list to getting rich. I've read it at least 3 times, cover to cover. I'll definitely be pickup up this new one.

I just got it (sent from the UK). Now I have to read it. I have read the first 6 and so far it's stuff taken out of the How to Get Rich book. There also seems to be a place to write notes after every 88. So half the book is filled with blank lines.........

Maybe it gets better.

Yeah I liked his other book. This one is interesting looking at the points it looks like a lot is probably rehashed but many of them also sound new. I definitely want to get it but it seems rather hard to obtain.

Got mine in the mail from amazon.uk about 3 days ago.

His first book was good but did have a little fluff. But hey, what would you expect from man like Felix. The best line was "If it flys, floats or fornicates rent it, its cheaper in the long run."

The best thing ever written on making money was written by the father of money lol Benjamin Franklin, only couple well written paragraphs and I bet it beats anything out there period.

Franklin, "Way to Wealth"

I still learn something new every time I read it, well not really learn its more like a religion, you know you should be doing it but words are so powerful motivates you to try harder.

"Get what you can, and what you get hold;
'Tis the stone that will turn all your lead into gold,"
