Hey guys,

Just a quick question..

I created a dating for 40+ product and placed it on ClickBank but so far I'm having difficulties to get affiliates to promote my product. I think the product is on a great niche on a big unsaturated market and I'm sure it'll make a lot of money for affiliates (and for me!) once it's get known. I find it easy to find affiliates in the bizopp/IM domain but what about other niches like dating? Should I place the product in another place than CB?

Thanks for your help guys!

Show the site for responses. For CB go to DP. A CB dating product is a tough sell, unless it is get-yer-ex-back-or-you-will-kill-self book. If it doesn't convert, no one will promote, as with anything else.

The best thing you can do is to start promoting your own product as an affiliate. Sign up for another Clickbank account so you can promote your product with an affiliate link. Any sales you make will contribute to your Clickbank gravity score, increasing its popularity in the Clickbank marketplace and other marketplace powered sites (like cbengine.com). Nothing attracts the attention of other affiliates more than a popular, rising product. Since you own the product, you're at an advantage as you keep 100% of the sale. If you can't make a profit it should give you an idea of how marketable the product is from an affiliate's perspective. It's also a good idea to try various traffic sources to gather data to then present to your affiliates, e.g. let them know anything which can help them profit from promoting your product: ppc sources, landing pages, your cpcs and epcs, etc.

Hey thanks for the great tips! I'll definitely go and push my own products to get some sales in and some % to give to my future affiliates, love the idea. Thanks a lot!
