Finding High Traffic, Targeted Blogs

Hey,

Considering trying out a few subscription-based banner campaigns across some targeted blogs. I know a lot of very focused, pretty high traffic blogs offer monthly subscriptions for very cheap ($50-$200 / month) - or so I remember constantly seeing.

Anyone know a good resource for finding say the top 100 blogs for certain categories / niches?

Technorati is alright, Google blog search decent...lists or directories would be better

stumble upon > category

quantcast > related sites, google trends > related sites

stumbleupon: more based on site pages rather than sites themselves.

quantcast: related sites are usually not related at all

gtrends: can't even find related sites on there

Go to Technorati and browse by category.

Technorati Authority is the number of blogs linking to a website in the last six months. The higher the number, the more Technorati Authority the blog has.

Obviously not 100% accurate, but it should give you some good leads.

Not really an answer to your question, but I figured I would throw another set of tools for blog research in here anyways: BlogPulse Tools Overview

For trend analysis, rather than traffic analysis. Thought someone might be able to use it for something else.

search for technorati top blogs...you should find some blogs with a ton of traffic.
