Finding niche's for adsense

I think one of my biggest problems is to find niches that will be profitable with adsense... Any suggestions on how you guys go about finding your domains? Do you use any programs to help search? I use SerpIQ to evaluate the competition to only make me scared to try to find a domain in that area lol.

I use positionsniper but I usually just flip through catalog or jot don ideas during the day and than run the KWs through positionsniper to see if anything is available.

I feel like racking my brain for stuff I enjoy and stuff just isnt going to work.

For example. I like starcraft 2 and warcraft 3. Do I make a community site for those? That will not be profitable.
