Hi,
So yesterday morning I was setting up a campaign in adwords, i took my time this time to really divide each keywords groups in separate ad groups, and used exact or phrase match.Took me about 2 hours to do that, but I had spent at least another 2 hours finding the best affiliate for that product, I got a pretty decent one and made my ads go directly to their site, they sell only the product I was advertizing so i thought it would be more targeted this way.

At the end of the day, I had spent 4$ in adwords, and made ~ 60$, I couldnt belive it !

Now this morning I was planning on coming to the forum, and thank you guys, but HORROR... yep... google disabled my campaing !
here is the message i got from them :
At this time, Google policy does not permit the advertisement of websites that contain drugs or drug paraphernalia ( that is BS ! ). As noted in our advertising terms and conditions, we reserve the right to exercise editorial discretion when it comes to the advertising we accept on our site.
The thing is that, nothing is illegal about what im selling, you can buy this in stores...
It also sucks because I see some other people's ads still running for some of my keywords...
Im really pissed at this... It really sucks to be fucking happy one day then to wake up the next morning and have google bitch slap you

So now i dont know what to do... what i can do... maybe there is a way to go around this ?
What if i advertise on other networks ? are there some that might be worth it ?

You can do a few things:

1. Advertise on other networks. See if you can make a profit like that with MSN or yahoo.

2. Try using a landing page. Not too sure if this will work, but definitely could be worth a try.

3. See what your competitors are doing and use them as "inspiration". If your competitors aren't getting their campaigns disabled, then they must be doing something right.

its also possible that your "competitors" went ahead and contacting google, telling them you are doing something illegal - thus having your site removed.

Maybe their site contains other stuff (that google don't like) than the exact page you send the traffic to in your campaign?

If you're selling a vitamin / dietary supplement and you use "pill" in the keywords or ad you can ask for an exception since its an over the counter product.

If it is prescription or illegal then you might be out of luck.
