Hey guys im a newb at affiliate marketing and i was wondering what is a good amount of money to begin getting my feet wet in this industry?

Hello friend,

That question very simple but at time same very complex.

There no answer good for all because it all depend on how much money have and what can afford for spend.

If you already millionaire then spend tens of thousands is no problem.

If you struggle to have money for pay rent maybe no spend so much.

Good luck bro

I started 8 years ago with $2500.00 and a dream. I quickly lost the $2500 but still had the dream. I sold the dream to a hooker for $17 (and a blowjob). I used that $17 to try again in internet marketing (back then we didn't have AM yet). I have rolled that opportunity into the next opportunity 6-7x now and not only is my "job" but my way of life.

selling dreams to hookers? good job +rep

@op

a good start would be to put $2000 aside and be prepared to spend the lot to "buy data/research/learn". never spend more than $50 a day * on any one single campaign. tweak each campaign after $50 or so.*
(i found entering AM with the mindset that the money is not real but just monopoly money really helped me.)

if you're finding it hard to spend the $2000 by the end of the month, because money is coming back in, then AM is definately for you.

* dollar amount should be relative to payout amount so $50 for a $30 rebill, $15 for a $4 dating offer, etc. don't go spending $50 on a zip submit and come crying to me if it doesn't convert lol

ha thanks alot... and i will spend $50 on a zip submit >.<

I love how 'starting' in affiliate marketing translates into how much money needs to be spent. (sarcasm)

I said it once and I will say it again, with enough drive and creativity one can start without any money invested in AM. Obviously to actually be successful you will have to re-invest working capital to make bigger profits...
