It missed my parents house by just over a mile. I'm going up there on Friday to check things out.

Damn thats crazy. how many major tornados have there been already? Seems like every other day theres another tornado that went through some town

As of yesterday the tornado count for 2011 is at 1,208 which is already matching what we had last year and that was considered a very active year.

I think the all-time yearly record is around 1800 so it could definitely surpass it this year.
