okay so just been running a site for awhile now and just starting to learn the PPC game..

question is im trying to figure out how to test and build campaigns without blowing out my budget on crap no conversion clicks..

on adwords for example when i build a campaign and lets say have an actual budget of $100 bucks...

should i start off with a low daily budget of like $5 and bid low at like .05 and then just perfect my adcopy until the CTR increases? Of course this is going to give me a low ad position and if my CTR is good then paying a higher CPC to get that top slot is worth it.

I guess im trying to figure out if i should stay at bidding pennies and keep optimizing my ad copy and landing page only.. or am i just gonna waste my time because my ad will be placed so low nobody will click on it anyway?

I think the problem you're going to hit is that only your low cost non-converting keywords have any chance of being shown on the first page if you bid that low.

The higher costs keywords are going to show on page 192+ and will never see the light of day. So no conversions.

There is a reason why good keywords cost more. They convert.
