Fiverr goes down again

Don't get me wrong, I would never even think about offering services on fiverr. But don't some of the larger scale operations on fiverr actually make multiple 6-figures/year?

I don't think there's anything wrong with it as long as you make a profit for it for your time. That's hard to do with $4 per (after Fiverr takes $1) order but totally possible. People stay hatin'.

I've seen somewhere they are being hacked, but could not confirm that. Anyway, even bigger companies go down for minutes, some for hours, so it's not such a big deal; unless you have a deal on Fiverr :D

I use Fiverr for easy items that can wait a while to process -badges, shitty logos and such. If you're basing your business around those guys and need 'mission critical' uptime though I'd hate to be in your boots..

indeed a select few on the big networks like fiverr or seoclerks are bringing in that kind of $$ but 90% of them are overseas & mostly in countries where that amount of leg work is actually worth the return - i personally never got on the bandwagon myself - that said it has been interesting to watch the evolution of fiverr into this kind of crack house marketplace where you have dancing jewish bagmen & 50 year olds with beer guts painting logos on themselves and dancing around drunk (kimmel fame)

If you have some automated shit you can earn some good money. Automation and/or outsourcing is the key.

The extra juice are the "upgrades" people can buy on the top of the shitty $5. Have something for $10 or $20 bucks which makes sense and there you go. Or have something which makes sense to rent on monthly base and lure the people with the first 5 bucks in it... Of course, most stuff there is bull. Its crazy how much people sell stuff there where everyone can see if they would do some normal low pay job they would earn more. But i assume alot doing the stuff there because they like to do it. Pretty good when you need some cheap video for your trash site. Doing that video with your neighbours would cost you more in terms of coffee & cookies for them. Fiverr is underestimated in some ways.
