Because generally speaking, hiring a guy running bed and breakfast in rural Idaho to be your head coach doesn't work out well. Nobody tell the crypt keeper tho, maybe he'll find some guy that's running a laundromat as their next coach.

Probably because the cript keeper is pissed he isn't drafting in the top ten this year!

I'm not sure it will matter, they will simply take the fastest guy at the time regardless of skill.

In all seriousness, who the fuck would want to coach the Raiders with old man bat shit crazy as their boss? Cable gets them to 8-8 and I think 6-0 in the division, considering where they where I don't see how that's so bad.

Then again, nothing Al Davis does makes any fucking sense. I haven't seen any of his real normal bat shit crazy antics this season though, I wonder if he has someone trying to keep him out of trouble as of late.

I thought you hated football!

The Raiders are likely going to go with Hue Jackson, their current offensive coordinator. Jackson, a black man, was recently interviewed by the 49ers for their job, which appeases the Rooney rule. Anyone else find this rule insulting? Teams are required to interview a man of color for their HC job. They don't have to hire them, but must interview at least one. This just seems so ass backwards to me. In a country where we have a black president, a corporation is forcing its franchisees to interview based on race. Dumbfounding.

it's amazing. A team that has been crappy for so long, goes to 8-8, and with a couple of dud quarterbacks all year. He's a candidate for coach of the year.

so i'm on the espn raiders message boards... 90% of those guys are backing AL on this. unreal. what a bunch of IDIOTS lol

yup and guys don't know how hard it is to be a coordinator while coaching a team. it's like that for us with norv turner...great offensive mind...puts up ton of points per year but can't coach an entire team worth a lick. it's too hard for these guys...way too much responsibility.

if norv can't succeed i can't see how a rookie hue ..can ...this is a dumb dumb move by davis
