For anyone still doing myspace, stolen accounts

Except that myspace redirects all links through msplinks.com so it won't carry any weight.

Good find... Its too bad those lists are largely un usable by the time they get revealed.

Bam Bam, you are looking at it the wrong way.

-People use the same password for their myspace and the email connected to their myspace usually
-When their myspace gets hacked, they only change the myspace password

Soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo

Write a script using CURL that checks to see which passwords still work with the emails... THen:

-Forgot Password on myspace
-Forgot password on bank account
-Forgot password on any other account connected to the email.

or just scrape all the emails and start sending them ringtone offers and stuff.

Is Myspace still relying on their super secure ColdFusion, or did they switch over yet?

MySpace has been off ColdFusion for over a year now. The cfm pages map to the true .NET pages. They kept the linking the same to avoid the issues that come with changing them.

I don't think it was anything to due with security, but scalability.
