Forbes' 2011 Billionaires List



Pretty sure the Forbes billionaires list is a Man's version of People Magazine or whatever the fuck my girlfriend reads.

I feel slightly less manly now.

If you sort them by age you'll see most of the youngest ones are billionaires thanks to internet. Truly amazing, though predictable.

Funny thing is - this is the "public" list. The ones that cannot hide their money or want it public for some reason. Most billionaires are not known.
 
I love how we all reckon we know how they got there. Rowling = great story. Zara = good clothes @ good price. Walmart (forget the inheritance) = stack 'em high, sell 'em cheap.

It's the backend/behind-the-scenes that has made all of these guys. Ruthless domination of the channels that grow their industries. Retail: buying power, foreign labor costs, import/export duties, transportation costs. Entertainment: fucking license Hrarry Potters ass off. Natural Resources: Russia/India. Gas/oil/steel. Hmmh? Almost slave labor + bribery. Internet: Jack some dudes shit and let the money-hungry investors pimp your baby to the advertisers.

Any further ideas on how all theses guys got there?

Oh yeah. Where are the billionaire drug lords? ARms dealers? Despots?

Old NWO famlies? Where do you think the Rothschilds fortune after the Napoleonic War scam wnet? That literally made Nathan Mayer Rothschild the richest man in the world by a massive margin. You own the Bank Of England at the time, you own the world.

Yeah there seem to be a lot of individuals on that list whose wealth isn't properly represented. It's hard to evaluate accurate personal wealth of these people considering a lot of their stakes in various other entities don't surface.

Yes, agroculture business is probably most "legit" way in our country to be billionare, there are also food oil king and bread one... all other ways seems to be natural resources and banks. Sucks...but at least something:)

That agro billionaries in Ukraine have 30% profit margin, while Russia in same business only 10% and US ...their Tiger or whatever...forgot, anyway - 6%
 
I wonder how they get to those figures.

Most very wealthy people don't know exactly how much they're worth (due to shifting values of assets), so how do Forbes work it out? It's easy enough for Mark Zuckerberg, cos they can just count his facebook shares, but for the people who are diversified outside of public companies? Who knows?

Also - where are the African despots? Teodoro Obiang (equatorial guinea) bought a $380M yacht recently, so I bet he should be on that list.
