Aliens already walk among us and are refusing to share their technology until we change our warring and polluting ways, claims former Canadian defense minister.

  • Former Canadian defense minister Paul Hellyer, 90, declared on Russian TV on Saturday that there are 80 different species of aliens
  • He said aliens have 'been visiting our planet for thousands of years' and are rather unimpressed with how we live
  • Hellyer described several types of aliens including 'Tall Whites' who are working with the U.S. air force in Nevada
  • He claims that 'a couple of their ladies dressed as nuns go into Las Vegas to shop and they weren’t detected'
  • Hellyer first went public with his belief in aliens on earth in 2005 and he is the first high ranking politician to publicly state that aliens are real

Oh hogwash! We're a great species. Just take a look around at how we treat our fellow humans, and how beautiful we've made the earth.

Anyway, of course I believe in aliens. I'm a little skeptical as to whether or not they waste their time with us though.
 
While I'm very very open minded about these types of things and don't think it's impossible or unlikely, I think this is more just proof that high-ranking politicians aren't immune to being conspiracy nuts, versus proof that what he's saying is true.
 
I'm afraid that if aliens have the technology to travel to earth, that earth itself will amount to little more than an anthill impeding the construction of a highway, like in Hitchiker's Guide to the Galaxy.
 
I wonder sometimes if Aliens exist, how likely is it that they have the same reference of time that we use? If what it takes up 100 years to do they conceive of in a day or a single thought? If they zoomed by our planet would we even look intelligent? We would just look like primitive growths moving along at too slow of a pace to classify as intelligent?

Doubt it. Pretty confident they're not zooming around the stars, then stop at Earth and think to themselves, "holy shit, they got it going on! we need to learn from these people". Could be wrong, but I'm pretty confident that's not what their thoughts towards us are.

Neither do religious people. At least aliens are plausible.
 
We've talked about this guy a couple times on this forum already.

In fact I myself opened a thread about him a couple years ago.

I think this dude is like many of us, he WANTS to believe. Only he wants it so bad that he sees clues everywhere, even places that don't necessarily make sense. He's a conspiracy nut level 99.

That said, I'm like him in a way... I sure hope there's something out there, because if it's just us, it's fucking sad.
