France on facebook being gay?

What's the deal with being unable to select the
"Interested In"
option when making a facebook as in France.

Can't even make an ad without it because it says you must chose an "Interested In" option.

Do they french suck ass? Or is this some bug?

You can't target based on 'interested in' for a bunch of foreign countries so you can submit dating ads in those countries without that targeting option.
