I don't actually know how to use this myself but, I'm trying to figure out the text tool right now to see what I can do it that that vegas or hitfilm can't.

There is also the pro version for 995 but the basic one is free with no real big limitations.

If you like FX programs, or are a gear head who likes tinkering check it out. Or if not, well the price is still right.
 


I downloaded it yesterday, opened it, loaded a video, didn't see the live preview, exited. It's a great piece of software, I'm sure.
 
Can't find the "Convert halfassed DSLR footage to Academy VFX Level" button, where is it?
 
What's the business for BMD to offer these kinds of softwares for free, Resolve and now this?

It's very unusual. It's almost as if they're using OWT technology.

Gets people learning and using their products instead of the competition's. Especially people looking to get into the industry, students and whatnot, without having to outlay a massive amount of cash. End up selling more full versions and the hardware to go with them.
