Alright, so this is a blatant ripoff of SEO_Mike's killer idea of offering free autoblogs. But imitation is the highest form of flattery and I don't think the two offers overlap on the intended audiences too much.

Okay, first off, how do you monetize a Wordpress MU install?

Well, there are multiple ways. Make a new blog per ebay category and have an ebay affiliate store. Pick a generic domain and have an information site with a different niche per blog. Pick a niche domain and then get into the micro niche with each blog.

Here's a method that I recommend:
  1. Pick a niche. Visits forums catering to that niche and offer free hosted blogs. This generates good will and signups.
  2. Via Wordpress MU individuals can sign up for their own blogs for free and start blogging. In the process they're providing you with tons of quality content!
  3. Once the blogs have become established, insert adsense or blocks of affiliate offers in the themes and monetize the traffic. I recommend this because if it's too spammy to begin with they may not be interested in signing up or continuing. Ideally you'll find a balance.
Some benefits of a MU installation:
  1. Others are providing your content!
  2. You're able to modify one theme, but affect multiple blogs (inserting adsense for example).
  3. You're creating communities and can use them for generating link juice by placing your links in the themes.
  4. Users can be up and blogging in seconds with ease without the need for admin privileges.
I did this exact thing in a training forum I belong to where there is a high amount of activity. I offered the sites, people came and signed up, and now their blogs are listed in their sigs on the forum and they are driving more traffic to the sites for me! Soon will come the blocks of affiliate offers and adsense. Here's the site: my52DC.com

Here's what you need to do for me to set up Wordpress MU for you:
  1. PM me, I will send you instructions with a link.
  2. Sign up for Hostgator using the link I provide you. I will also provide you with a code to get $9.94 off your first month. So, if you sign up for the Baby package, you only pay $0.01 for the first month.
  3. Have your domain name ready. If you don't have a domain, click here and use the link in SEO_Mike's signature (they apparently rock).
  4. Give me your login information to your new Hostgator account (you can change this after I set up your site. In fact, I recommend that you do change it!)
  5. Sit back and let me set everything up for you.
What you will get from me:
  1. One install of Wordpress MU, fully functioning and ready for your community site.
  2. Several popular themes that work well in Wordpress MU (you can of course add more later).
  3. A default or modestly customized home page that allows users to login, sign up for blogs, track site news, and see recently updated blogs. Here is the modestly customized theme: myruleone
If you still haven't figured out why this deal rocks, let me explain:
  1. You get someone else (me) to do the heavy lifting of setting all your shit up.
  2. You get to sign up for a high quality webhost for virtually nothing the first month ($0.01)
  3. I get paid from affiliate commissions when you sign up for the hosting. We both get something we want!
Or, if you really don't need another hosting account, but still want me to set up your Wordpress MU install you can just pay me $100 to set it up on your current hostgator account.

Wow. I just plagiarized the hell out of SEO_Mike's post here. So, to recap - if you're in the market for autoblogs - go hit SEO_Mike up here. If you're in the market for a Wordpress MU install, hit me up via PM.

Blogs are set to the Wordpress MU default using subdomains. Even if you're the only one utilizing the install, setting up blogs is lightning fast and you can access them all with one username / password - controlling them all from the backend admin panel. It's sweet.

Turnaround time is 48 hours.

The concept that SEOmike is using is not new and in fact was how I started in aff marketing years ago making 3k a week using the same technique. I like a lot of other people have a lot of respect for SEOmike and think that nobody should step on his toes until he wants to quit the offer.

I know you have read that his lead times are not great right now and his problems at home are affecting his work flow but that's no reason to take advantage and launch an almost clone offer under his nose.

I think if you really want to do this then go build a landing page and buy some Adwords but don't take the piss out of someone. If we all did this then nobody would post good offers or info on WF

I did the autoblog deal with SEO_Mike and I'm happy with it. I also set up a Wordpress MU on the same hostgator acct. So, having both, I see that they are two completely different approaches and I personally don't see the conflict. I figured there would be those not interested in the autoblogs, but might find this to be interesting. I wouldn't come in here, copy SEO_Mike's post near word for word and offer autoblogs.

I viewed this as a choice between dress shoes or athletic shoes. They cost the same, but meet different needs. SEO_Mike indicated he was working on creating ecommerce sites and I didn't go near that either. However, if this is viewed as nothing more than me "taking the piss" out of a guy or taking advantage of his personal situation (neither of which was my intent), then I'll edit the post to merely indicate how one might monetize a MU site.

I PM'd SEO_Mike immediately upon posting to give him a heads up. If he's the least bit uncomfortable with this post - I'm taking it down. In hindsight I probably should have PM'd him to begin with.

No worries. This is a good deal for someone that wants WPMU installed. I won't do it on a shared host, so I'll never offer a service like this. I'm not going to go into details why I won't use WPMU on shared hosting because it's just my opinion and not necessarily a problem with either shared hosting or WPMU.

Anyhow...the offer is fine with me. The boobies you had posted were hot as hell, but they had to come down. BST is not the place for boobies. Too many people view this section from work and it would suck if their boss walked by right as they scrolled down the page.

Post those hot titties in Something Different. :D
