I remember the first time I listened to a Raised Fist album I said, "What the fuck? It all sounds like the same song."

Then I realized that song was AWESOME and have been a fan ever since. Dedication is still my favourite album.

And people who just say the thrash voice can be done just by yelling obviously haven't tried a whole song that way.

I have to admit I did not like the voice at first.

Yeah I had to make it through a few songs to figure out what I thought, the vocals definitely sound like they would belong with a band less focused on melody, more straight ahead punk. I think it's probably a combination that you either totally dig or totally hate.

Look for the song "My Last Day", its got a pretty mellow ambiance with the same vocal/lyrical intensity that I really dig, I just couldnt find it on youtube to post here but the song is bad ass.

great swedish hardcore band

This band kicks ass. They've actually been around for a long time...like 1993...I used to rock their album "Ignoring the Guidelines" on repeat in like 2001. Then I totally forgot about them until this post - thank you for posting it!! Their new stuff is like 1000 times better. I love the old stuff though because its all in broken English, and he sounds so mad.
