Hi Guys,

I'm looking to buy some fruit snacks to see if I improve my eating habits. I know fresh fruit is the best option, but sometimes... it is too much hassle/too healthy for me.

So... I'm looking at easy fruit snacks. I've seen:

Anyone have any preferences/recommendations? If it taste good... there is a chance I will stick to it so I'm not looking for just the healthiest shit... because then I will eventually stop. I'm figuring a room full of gay webmasters means some of you are chomping away at something healthier than Pringles but not so healthy as to make it unappealing for me.

p.s. I do eat fresh fruit, just not that often
 


dude seriously they are good as hell but a lot of them you are better off eating a pack of starburst - these are loaded with sugar most of the time

(i like sugar and eat these all day, i like the whole foods version PS)

This is probably the best option if you don't mind putting in a little time. I've had one for a few years and use it off and on. If you add a food processor to handle slicing fruits (such as bananas and apples), it's really easy to make a big batch with just a few minutes of prep time. It's also cheaper and healthier than most commercial dried fruit since you can avoid things like chemicals and added sugar.

If you prefer to buy, here's another product to consider:

I've tried a few of their flavors. They're good, but high in sugar. I prefer the fruit leather I make in a dehydrator.
 
Just spend half a day cutting up a bunch of fruit and then putting them into plastic, air tight containers. When you get hungry pull one out. Just cut up enough for that week.

Fresh is the only way to eat fruit.

Yeah, I know sugar is bad for me and what not... but it is a nice short term boost... especially in the afternoon-night when I get tired but still want to keep on keeping.

Do you like really sweet fruit? What about dates or dried figs?

Yeap, if I buy that, I know myself, I'll use it 1-6 moths, then it will become a dust collector in the closet.

This. Buy a bunch of dried fruit and seeds & nuts. Cut the fruit into little pieces, dump in the nuts & seeds.

Also check out larabars. They rock.

Incongruous. Pre cut and then refrigerated fruit is not fresh at all.

Fresh fruit is they way to go. Buy it, eat it when ripe, do not refrigerate.
 
Get into smoothies (of all types). Amazing tastewise and you don't even have to stop work to eat like some slacker
 
i like to eat real fruits than snacks,snacks are just for short time fun but in long run it will spoil your health .eating fruits with empty stomach will give you good results
