Oh noez!!!!! The FTC is angry, and apparently is out of things to do this week, so they're going after individual affiliates for pushing "deceptive advertisements" of acai berry.

Apparently we can listen in on the announcement on Tuesday in a conference call with the FTC and a representative of the Illinois Attorney General’s Office, which is bringing a separate case against an affiliate marketer of acai berry weight-loss pills

I never understood why acai berry was so explosive compared to every other miracle weight loss bs.

Hopefully this dumb fuck doesn't call in and represent. Shit like this is embarassing.

Because those weight loss drugs weren't promoted in blatantly fraudulent manners such as Acai has been. A year ago it was flogs, now its farticles. The Lanham Act and the FTC Act have always been around, but "advertisers" (loosely used to describe shady affiliates/networks) hadn't been as brazen in their violations in the past.

Yeah basically

Other weight loss drugs some actually slightly worked to help you lose weight and were not promoted using as many extremely overinflated lies and propaganda.

Acai has almost no effects towards weight loss as it's only really an antioxident and is promoted as being some sort of miracle pill that makes you lose 10 pounds a week.

Acai on its own doesn't of course, but I'm sure someone could combine acai (for 'antioxidant' and mostly marketing reasons) with a legit weight loss supplement (such as OxyElite Pro)

see, people are bugging and getting it all wrong.

Of course Acai alone won't let you lose weight...

Dietician Scientists accidentally discovered that when combined with a powerful colon cleanse the all natural cleansing ingredients became bound with the extremely high levels of antioxidants in the acai at a molecular level which created a super powered superfood "fat burning furnace" allowing its taker to shed up 37 pounds in 4 weeks with absolutely no exercise required!

ppshhhh...
