Where are these people at that they just walk around gators like they are nothing, and the gators just lay at the people's feet? That's the odd part.

Was wondering the same thing - those bastards can run faster than some dogs.
 
Cats are pretty good at standing their ground and smacking the shit out of bigger animals in places that are the most sensitive. It probably thought those gators were big ugly dogs. I've seen big mean dogs try to go after a cat, the cat swats them one or 2 times, and the dog forever after that will tuck its tail when the cat walks by.

Occasionally, I've seen a dog get a cat. It's always been when the cat tries to run and there's no trees around.
 
I'm sure these gators are fed regularly which keeps them docile. Probably not the first run in with a cat either. Still a cool video though. I can maybe see getting that close to a gator but that guy had his back turned to them, was expecting him to at least get snapped at.

Ummm yeaaaaah... My dog would LOVE for a cat not to run and try to "swat" him a couple times.
