So over the past month I've been busting my ass writing articles. Overall the pay was decent. As a recent high school grad I was making $16/hr and a good $50 a week from having my buddy write some - but the more I wrote, the more I realized that I'm way too fucking smart to be competing with all these Hindus.

Don't get me wrong, the job's not bad, it's just that if I continue on this path then I'll never really be able to achieve anything significant.

If there is one thing that I've learned from this experience, it's this: if you have a roof over your head and food on the table then fuck working for an hourly wage. Whatever you make today is most likely the same shit you'll make tomorrow, whereas if you bust your ass for no pay today, then tomorrow might be a better day ... and if shit hits the fan then fuck it, I'll go back to writing your stupid fucking articles about flabby female asses and some bullshit diet.

Hence, from this day forward fuck the world. I am not a member of corporate America and hopefully never will be. I am a fucking boss and will take over the internets. I work harder, longer, and smarter than you and I WILL succeed.

From this point on, this thread will serve as a testament for this messy yet hopefully successful endeavor.

find niche and keyword from research,
Subit to Ezines article and who else?
Earn from what ever offer you promoted,

what else?

Currently I'm not really planning on doing anything with articles. I have my sights set on a website that will innovate upon already existing resources and then go ahead and provide a free service which others charge hundreds for. Hopefully through word of mouth, high PR backlinks, and all the techniques that I learn from reading books, I'll be able to get high up on google and cash in on advertising revenue. My main goal is to not create a bullshit MFA website that starts cashing quick, but to create QUALITY which will provide perpetual revenues over the next few years.

As for how I made money writing articles, I typed in 'Webmaster Forum' on Google, went to the top 10 and Wickedfire, went to their 'Sell' Section, Created a sales page with a persona matching that of the forum (though the one on WF most highly resembles me), provided a few review copies, and then started banking. If you need quick money then go ahead and do this, but like I said in my first post - there is no growth with Article Writing. You will make what you made yesterday today, and as far as being an entrepreneur goes, that sucks.

As for what I think you wanted to know, here's a formula that I had in my notes (it was taken from some other WF poster that I can't find right now). In my spare time I'm considering creating a few MFA websites just for increased cash flow. To start off I'll probably do what's stated below, but I'll substitute the paid services with hard work.

-3 word keyword domain URL. No hyphens.
-10K monthly searches
-Wordpress +all in one seo pack, google sitemaps, seo friendly permalink structures and 1 keyword dense article and a generick theme.

-1 bookmarking package from wickedfire members lalit_burma, 1 package from Red_Virus

generally, you get what you pay for in hosting, so...just run it til it sucks too much, then upgrade.

also, have they made a second season of eastbound and down? I've never watched another show that made me laugh as much as that one.

finally, what's your plan? what exactly are you planning to do to make money?

1. Hosting for that website is genrally $72 per year. The $10 special was an advertisement that they've been running in PCWorld Magazine. With decent reviews, hopefully the hosting won't be shit.

2. Season 2 is coming back on September 26th - which makes me really happy because they said that it would be over a year or two before Danny McBride could film.

3. I'm innovating an existing concept, just changing the way it is presented to make it a lot more efficient. Though I know being vague might screw me over when I need some substantial help, that's really all I want to say for now. I have an idea, I think it might work, and I'm willing to work hard even if it turns out that I won't make a dime.

To add onto this larger project, I'm considering making a few MFA websites that are marketed through articles. My current plan is the following:
1. Find a profitable niche
2. Research as many keywords for that niche as possible.
3. Get a 3 keyword domain.
4. Write as many articles as I can for each keyword.
5. Hire a few SEO services in order to make the site rank.
6. Optimize.
7. Break Even.
8. Profit.

Please tell me if this model sounds even slightly viable, and if there is anything really important that I should know. Thanks.

OK I will accept already that Article marketing isn't really making that much money, time spent marketing to the value on which returned...., not enough,

I also agree building a quality MFA site rocks, I hope to follow you.
If it's OK I would like to ask a little more - your plan of action.

OK peeeps, as we are going to build a MFA site, this niche must have a high search volume , high paying keyword.Planning to earning from adsence , those keyword chosen, its very important to use these when marketing-article marketing., those keyword bring the traffic and as the site is built around high paying keywords, the ads value will be the same, Important to build a great LP that's been designed for adsence, then hopefully those browsers will click on your ads-profit-profit-profit

2.research as many keyword possible for the niche.-.ok 2do this, I would use a keyword tool, first get the system to generate similar......keywords, then check 2 see if these new keywords have search volume,. Narrow the keywords down to how many, 3? 10? 20? 30? , per article??? How many high paying keyword would you put into an article for marketing and how many would you use on the LP?

3.get a 3 keyword domain.-. OK I done all my keyword research, I found 3 keywords that describe my topic very well with high search volume on each keyword,,Is that it? put them together, that's my domain?

4. Write as many articles as I can for each keyword.-. How many keyword would 1 use on each article? Or did I read that wrong....Do you plan to write 1+ articles for 1 keyword?, then how many keyword would you target, 10? 20? 69?......

5.Hire a few SEO services in order to make the site rank.-. OK

6.Optimize.-. please explain.

7.break even.-. that's on your time or keyword lol

8.Profit.-. would be fuck-in great.

Hey, I'm really not the person that you should be asking. I'm only starting up with my own websites and have a lot of testing that I need to do before being able to provide any substantial info. Maybe someone else can answer?
 
Just read Chapter 1 of Landing Page Optimization. Don't know about the rest of the book, but so far this is a must read for everyone.
 
dude you know you could do this "I've achieved elite article-writer status, fuck this I'm gonna work on my business now" thing and then let in only 10 people for premium prices just because you're balling so hard and do this a few times till you bank hardcore.

A few better clients I decided to give to my buddy. As for still writing even at premium prices, let me break it down like this: I have college paid for, have housing paid for, have some money in the bank, don't really spend money, and have a few investments that will pay dividends over the next year. Now, I could continue working my ass off and piling up about $100 a day, but honestly there is no point. I'm currently comfortable, and for the time being I'm not looking for steady pay but steady growth. Who cares if I only make $2 today when I could've made $100 - if things go well then I'll hopefully be making a lot more than that automated. I'm willing to make sacrifices and am doing my best to do my best. Once I find something good, maybe I'll go back to writing just to make more money, but until then I will keep working hard until I go broke.
 
Dude, I'm with you! I just graduated high school too and I've been trying to get into this but never took action..fuck it, I'm out of school and don't got shit to do until I start going to college. I'm bored as FUCK and its time to take action! I've never had to work for my money but then again, I've never been ballin as much as I wanna be..so it's time to start working for my dough!

I hope you don't mind sharing your "testament for this messy yet hopefully successful endeavor" (or journal?) with me, if you want me to gtfo and make my own testament of endeavors then let me know! I think that would make me feel as if someone is working with me and add a little competition to getting my internet business started.

Hopefully sooner then later we will be competing on who's making more money each day ;) that's if you dont mind me sticking around?

(I'm going to order "The Art of SEO" tomorrow, and start gathering as much reliable information as I can and take action on my first website as soon as I can because there's only so much you can learn from books!)
