Indiana Department of Environmental Management granted BP a water permit to dump 1,500 pounds of ammonia and nearly 5,000 pounds of wastewater sludge into the lake every day. Illinois officials said Indiana officials never consulted with its neighbor states, all of which also rely on Lake Michigan.

Fishing is one of my favorite hobbies, guess I have to go to clean water . No way around this if you live near lake michigan. Here in Chicago our main water supply is through Lake Michigan. WTF I better make everything with filtered water, even fucking ice cubes.

As one of the few Brits here, I'm sorry that a British company has done this. It's fucking wrong. I'm even more sorry that my taxes are fuckin subsidising their other activities. So, indirectly I helped fund this atrocity... sorry guys.
