Boo yeah! Myspace finally modified their interface late last night and added daily budgeting so we can ditch the scheduling bullshit, you can literally choose no end date and let it roll.

The only thing stopping you now is a an error requiring you to spend at least what you've spent previously on the campaign on a daily basis. I sent an email to their techs, but a quick workaround is to just set a monster budget and go right back, pause, and change it.

Yays! About time lol.

December 2008

Daily Budget

You can now set a daily budget on your campaigns. You can now tell us how much you're willing to spend on a daily basis, and your ads will display as often as possible while staying within your daily budget. When your budget limit is reached, your ads will stop showing for that day.

New Campaign Setting

In many cases, advertisers would like to have their ads run indefinitely. As such, we've added a new campaign setting option to MyAds. Advertisers now have the choice between setting a specific end date when their campaigns will stop running and selecting 'no end date' to have their campaign run indefinitely. Campaigns set to 'no end date' will run forever until the advertiser decides to pause the campaign, or give it a specific end date.

Campaign Filtering

For advertisers running multiple campaigns, we've added the capability to filter based on status. For example, you'll now be able to filter your account to reflect all 'active' campaigns for easy viewing. This will help you monitor progress more easily against your testing initiatives.

New Ad Templates

We've added over 90 new templates for your use! Finding the right creative design can be difficult, and we will continue to provide you with the templates needed to send the right message to potential customers.

SWEEETTT

I just jumped on MySpace, and can really use a little help getting things rolling. I read every thread on MySpace and still can't seem to get any volume.

I even set ridiculous bids at 1.50 and nothing...

CTR is your friend ;). Maintain a good conversion rate while achieving a high CTR and you've got yourself a winner.

CTR is your friend. Maintain a good conversion while achieving a good CTR and you're golden ;) Honestly it's no different to any other form of PPC except they require you to have a nice CTR to really get any sort of volume at all. Other sources will still supply you with impressions just not as many.

the new layout is sick! looks like they went through some of my active ads though and decided to deny them? This happen to anyone else?

Guys, double check your targeting on your campaigns...it seems that some of my targeting preferences were reset during the update...

Anyone been able to find this? Or am I just blind?

I see the campaign filtering option, it's in the upper right on the campaigns page. I'm glad they added infinite run times with daily budgets, that's way more convenient.

Hm, this is what my overview looks like:

Thats strange gopher, just to the right of the "resume" tab I have a drop down box with the options to view "pending approval" "active" etc...

do you have any ads that are currently paused/expired/admin paused/etc, or all they all active?

Have you cleared your browser's cache? What browser are you using? Safari acts retarded in situations just like yours, and new features/edits don't show up sometimes unless I clear the cache and restart the browser.
